Red Pillar

A single coral pillar covered in red soft coral, standing clear of the reef.

4–16metres

A distinct pillar of rock rising from the reef, wrapped in red and orange soft coral that opens fully when the current runs. Cleaning stations on the pillar attract a steady stream of larger fish, and the isolated structure makes it an excellent wide-angle subject.
